Pendant "Playing and the fossil wood"

This silver piece was an unique design who was born from playing, a play between the tools, the metal and me playing like a little child twisting the metal, making a different direction each stretch, seeing how the metal answer to the pressure I make it and then I will play with texture. This is an unique piece, totally designed and elaborated by me using silver 925.

The piece which charm this pendant is a beautiful fossil special shape Wood, originated in Costa Rica, is a reflection of this country, full of primary and secondary forest, with beautiful and exuberant natural biodiversity which survive the human touch, thanks a God this biodiversity became protected. The wood is supported by a based and surround by a square wire of silver which sustained it in position. In this design you can observe the two faces of wood.

Then...... I became a Jewelry Maker

After years of office work, I decided to make a change. Following lots of studying, many new experiences and tons of effort , I finally became one of the top massage therapists in my country, Venezuela. Then a series of events outside my control changed everything. Change of home. Change of job. Changes and then more changes. Now, years later, I am changing again and becoming a jewelry maker working with silver (and considering gold) made by my own two hands. I am enjoying every aspect of this new endeavor.


The capacity to create beautiful jewelry has been in me since I was born, according to my teacher. Finally, I am taking this gift from G-d as a way of life and expressing myself in a way that makes me feel emotionally healthy, and happy again.

Crafting jewelry is an amazing and special process. As well as, a beautiful way to share art with people. I truly enjoy myself when creating a new piece. I think of my design inspiration and the person who will buy it.

Before I sign off, I want to show you my first piece, “Box of Leaves.” I am happy to report that the owner is very happy and loves wearing it. That is the greatest joy of any jewelry designer.
