The Pendant "Life with green movement"
This piece is one of my favorites, the Stone which decorates it is a amazing drop of amazonite with gorgeous and variable green color. I have to confess that I was looking for this stone for a long time, since I saw a beautiful piece made by a friend with a natural amazonite. The green charmed me. This stone, natural or polish took all my attention, the texture, the colors, is so beautiful.
Well, when this small strone arrived to my hands and in the moment I only could think "Ahhh!, now what can I do with this?", jajajajajaja, we ask for something and then, when it arrived to us we didn´t know what to do... The first thing that I did was see it and see it again... The stone made me a surprise, I only look at it watching the colors, the shape, each face of the stone with its own message. In that moment an idea came to me!.
Then, I don´t wanted put the stone over the plate, I thought the beautiful stone has two beautiful faces and it will be interesting to work and make this stone float freely, that is the way to born the bevel with the wire which support the stone.
When I saw the finished piece I felt real satisfy, is so beautiful!. I obtained my goal supporting the stone freely.
I hope you like it !

Things to Think
This we know,
All things are connected
like the blood
which unites one family ...
Whatever befalls the earth,
befalls the sons and daugthers of the earth
Man did not weave the web of life;
he is merely a strand in it.
Whatever he does to the web,
he does to himself

Breatspin: The fish, the chalice and the bread
This piece would born in the moment I would create something special to my best friend, Ana. I thought about her qualities looking for some ideas, I remembered her way to maintain me during adversities, the way she listened other, the way she felt about them, the honesty in her acts and much more, then in a moment I remembered she is a Christian person with the strong believe in her belief, he live with the God precepts and I admire this specially in this human times.
I really would made some piece she can use and reflex something about her at the same time. The day I decided to did it, sit down on my living room, listened music and thought "God help me because I want to make something special, I need some ideas"... And God answered me as always and gave me this beautiful idea. The symbols of Christianity, the fix mixed with the chalice and the bread all together in one piece, in a piece not so evident but full of meaning for something who want to see.
The next step in this way to did these special piece was drawing the idea so I took paper and pencil and began to make a fish more exactly I would to draw a whale... I love whales !!!... Well, I draw a fish and then did it the rest... jajajajajajaja.
Then, I took the silver sheet and the tools, I began the work to accomplish the goal and thought "Go ahead baby".
Sometimes and lot of work later all the small parts became one piece and sometimes after the texture was made. Finally, made the breatspin finishing my art work... The piece was ready to be given to my friend.
Now, the piece is in her hand and I feel happy and grateful with God, who give me this idea and the abilities to make it real.

BOX OF LEAFS
This piece was my first which began with a design on paper, my first one !!!, jajajajaja. When I finished the drawing the metal work began with the box elaboration and finally end the work with the brilliant leafs which adorn the rough box.
The piece was made by hand with the support of my teacher of course !.
As you can think, this is the most important piece for me, with it I learned to use the saw, the hand file, the dapping, the burns and I had my first contact with the fire or the torch, the soldering process and more including my first contact with the polish machine… jajajajaja… This was an amazing experience, I discover my abilities in drawing and somebody else can understand the thing I drew… jajajajaja…. And then I can put it in real and tangible work. I can´t explain the feeling, is the satisfaction to accomplish the challenge.
I really don´t know how many abilities I have… The works doesn´t be really hard… a more or less patient and a lot of attention in my teacher words and the work is done.
The actual owner is very happy using the Box of Leafs and I´m more happier about this success.

Making a Jewel Step 1: The melting
The melting is an alchemy process where metals are melted together along with the other elements like fire, gas and oxygen. All come together with our own energy and using our particular abilities. This step is the first in a long process to bring a design idea to life.
The colors and the sound charmed me. The beauty if the bright silver, the different gold tones, the changes in the flame that cause the transformation; the white, the yellow and blue tones; the sound of the torch's flame that signals the exact temperature and the beautiful flame that approaches the cruset making what was once solid a silvery liquid.
The sounds of the torch walks over my body and is part of the scary feeling that I need to prevent me from making a mistake.
The long and strong flame has to be in an exact location in front of the cruset giving it's high temperature to it's contents. The metals begin to melt like ice cream in the sun on beautiful summer day. The metallic colors are changing, all are shining metal is changing and the forms are changing. The metal melts, mixes becoming one big unique drop . From here I have to proceed carefully. So very carefully I pour contents of the cruset into a mold that I heated earlier.
That´s it! Everything must be kept warm because any coolness will solidify the liquid silver. That is why everything has to be kept under the care of the torch's flame until it comes to rest in a laminate ingot shaped mold. Once in the mold the liquid becomes solid in moments.
Them I take the solid cool metal out of it's holder and move on to the next step in the process in preparing material for my jewel.
